In our aluminum extruding plant, we produce a large percentage of 6063-T5 aluminum profiles. 6063 aluminum alloy, with its main alloying elements magnesium and silicon, is the most common 6000 series alloy for shaping aluminum extrusions. The reasons that 6063 alloy T5 tempered is so popular are due to its properties, good strength but light weight, easily machined and weldable, excellent corrosion resistance, smooth surface finish and affordable price.
